Historical Background
By 1762, the "Seven Years War" known in the America's as the "French and Indian War" was nearing its zenith, having the distinction of being one of the first truly global conflicts.
European powers battled across the Americas, the Caribbean, the Philippines, the Indian subcontinent and of course Europe and coastal Africa. The conflict concluded officially in 1763 with one of the many "Treaty of Paris" agreements made throughout this period of history, but tensions remained high, particularly in frontier territories.
These conflicts would shape the future of nations and empires across the globe, redrawing maps and providing the training grounds for future leaders such as George Washington.
